OKX is the first CEX to launch an asset protection program with compensation up to 500,000 USD.
Simply put, with OKX Shield, if an account is unfortunately compromised by a third party and assets are lost, eligible users may be considered for compensation by OKX.
This program is completely free. However, to be protected, everyone should enable all the security layers required by OKX such as Passkey, multi-factor authentication, and withdrawal protection layers. After enabling Shield, you should also maintain these security layers throughout usage.
In crypto, account security is still the most important, so this free feature should definitely be enabled for peace of mind.
