Excluding BTC and ETH, the total crypto market cap is back to 800 billion USD. Retail investors get excited: "Altcoin season is here!"
But what you don't know is that this rally relies on existing funds and ETF spillover, not new money entering. Institutions only buy BTC and ETH; altcoins get nothing.
