Leave room in your position to actually benefit from the market
The biggest lesson this week wasn’t getting the direction wrong, but overloading the position. Even though the judgment was correct, any slight fluctuation was unbearable, so when the market really moved, you couldn’t capitalize on it. That trade was a typical example—too heavy a position, mindset following the candlesticks, and in the end, just watching profits slip away.
