As expected, no surprise with the rate hike of 25 basis points; Walsh's speech was hawkish, but the market had already priced it in early. The BTC chart also showed no major fluctuations, remaining steady within the 74,950-77,200 range, very stable.
Walsh did not mention starting a long cycle of consecutive rate hikes, which itself is a bearish factor realized. Unless something unexpected happens, BTC should continue to oscillate.
Regarding Federal Reserve Chair Walsh's speech, it currently appears neutral to slightly hawkish, and a bigger issue lies in the dot plot suggesting a possible rate hike in 2026, which has caused market concerns. However, Walsh did not submit his own dot plot forecast, and he also mentioned observing market prices during his speech to see what signals the market will convey?
That is, current inflation, employment, and other data remain key factors in determining whether the Fed might raise rates again within the year.
