🚨 Extending trading hours doesn’t automatically create new liquidity.
South Korea is set to extend trading hours until 8 PM tomorrow, hoping to attract more capital and improve market liquidity.
But here’s the problem: the market still heavily depends on two giants—Samsung and SK Hynix. Compared with the US, Korea has far fewer derivatives products, and the available capital may not be enough to support a meaningful shift in trading activity.
