WLD pulling the same trick again? $49 million OTC locked for one year, and as soon as the news broke, trading volume exploded!
This storyline is actually familiar. In March, WLD did a $65 million OTC, and the price was under pressure afterward; in July, it was sold at a discount to Pantera, also an "institutional takeover" story, with the news sparking a surge before gradually cooling down.
